Authentication Apps

Learn what authentication apps are, how to use them, and the best apps to use.

Authentication apps generate security codes for signing into sites that require 2-factor authentication upon login. 

Bluelink now uses 2 factor authentication (2FA) to login. With 2FA, users will be asked to enter in a security code generated by an authentication app installed on your mobile device or computer each time you login.

Recommended authentication apps: 

There are many different free authentication apps available for download on both Android and iOS devices. The following are just a few options: 

• Google Authenticator
• Microsoft Authentication
• Authy
  
  
  To download an authentication app: 

1. Choose a device, such as a computer or mobile device (phone or tablet), on which you can install apps.
2. Download and install an authentication app to your device from the App Store. 
3. Select “enable” next to Authentication app and follow the instructions to scan or enter a code associating your authentication app with your account.
