Manage your SMS Inbox

Peer-to-peer texting is all about building relationships, so when a target replies, it's important to do your part to continue the conversation.

Here's how to manage your inbox and make sure you're taking timely action to reply to record data on your targets.

  1. When you login, you will see an unread count over your inbox if you have any new messages.

2.   When you open the inbox, unread messages will automatically filter to the top of your inbox.

3.   Click on the conversation you want to respond to and either type a response in the text field, or select a canned response from the Actions pinned on the right hand side of your computer or tablet screen. 

4.   Once you have replied, make sure you have recorded all necessary information in the Actions menu, including opt outs, contact results, survey questions, or event statuses.

It is most important to opt out any targets that requests not to be texted anymore using any language. This could include these or other requests:

  • Stop
  • Stop texting me
  • Take me off your list

If you have texted a target across multiple campaigns, you can also switch between campaigns to update the associated questions, events, contact results, or use a canned response.
