TurboVote to VAN Data Format
Bluelink TurboVote to VAN pipeline syncs the following fields:
- First name
- Middle name
- Last name
- Preferred name (Nickname in VAN)
- Phone
- Registered address
- Mailing address
This pipeline will also create the following Tags in VAN for each person synced:
TurboVote - All users synced from TurboVote receive this tag.
TurboVote:PartnerCommsOptIn:<value> - Whether a user said "yes" to custom opt-in language. (Where <value> is true or false.)
TurboVote:Hostname:<value> - Where <value> is the URL through which the user signed up. For example, TurboVote:Hostname:yourSite.turbovote.org.
TurboVote:ReferralCode:<value> - Where <value> is the referral code through which the user signed up. If the user came through the standard partner URL with no referral code, this tag is omitted.
TurboVote:VoterRegStatus:<value> - The status of a user’s voter registration. Where <value> can be ineligible, initiated, not-required, registered, or unknown. If no value is provided from TurboVote, tag is omitted.
TurboVote:VoterRegSource:<value> - How TurboVote knows the user’s voter registration status. Where <value> can be user or turbovote. If no value is provided from TurboVote, tag is omitted.
TurboVote:VoterReg:<value> - Method user chose to register to vote. Where <value> is by-mail, call-clerk, not-applicable, or online. If no value is provided from TurboVote, tag is omitted.
TurboVote:VotingMethodPref:<value> - Method by which user prefers to vote. Where <value> is by-mail or in-person. If no value is provided from TurboVote, tag is omitted.
