Activating SMS Campaigns

Once an SMS campaign has been created, it needs to be activated before it can be texted.

We recommend creating campaigns well before you need them to be texted. This allows for the contact list and template to be queued up, so everything is ready when you need to start!

It can be overwhelming to see every open campaign, especially if you're not ready to text into some of them right away, which is why we added the "Activate" step.


For Administrator or Standard User:

Create campaign. It will remain in "Pending" until it is ready to be activated.


The status will change to "Open" and you will see a "Activate to Text" button. Click "Activate to Text" to start texting.



For Organizer:

Create campaign and submit for approval. Once an Administrator has approved the campaign, you can activate it to start texting.
